In an increasingly competitive digital media landscape, capturing attention and driving conversations are incredibly difficult. Abstract creatives offered a cost effective avenue for us to stimulate the crowd and drive our message.
(IMPACT)
Through the dozen or so creative campaigns industrial designer Oliver and I have created, we've seen post engagements reach up to 400% our typical postings. This increased traction made it possible to increase sales to double digit growth vs the same period in the previous years. The post engagements and comments were overwhelmingly positive and exciting.
(VISION & INNOVATION)
With an audience that resonated heavily with design and inclusion discussions, I looked at how might we use design in our content to drive social engagement and brand visibility. Eone's product already pushed the envelope of status quo in terms of design, so I was comfortable that our audience would be receptive to a more abstract approach to advertising.
(CHALLENGES)
With such abstract creatives, writing Alt-text image descriptions for screen-readers became quite a copywriting challenge in itself. The copy itself needed to convey the image yet create positive emotive responses. I worked with Oli to better understand how to communicate his creatives, and copywriter Ming, to cross-check efficacy and impact.
(PROBLEMS)
No real problems presented themselves through these creatives.
